This photograph was taken on a very wet and windy day,  which was taken in the hallway of a beautiful mansion house.  I positioned myself up high on the staircase after posing the bride and groom.  I wanted in this photograph for the bride and grooms face to be the main focal point.  So to achieve this, I set a very wide aperture on the camera.  This ensured you faces were nice and sharp but the stunning wedding dress was quickly thrown out of focus.  I then asked the groom to gently kiss his bride on the neck and for the bride to close her eyes.  This is the resulting image, which I hope you love as much as I do.  If you are getting married in Devon, Cornwall or anywhere across the South West, please get in touch so we can talk about your requirements for your big day.
